Booking Information

When booking your vehicle in with us for servicing or repairs, we would ask if you could please supply the following details;

• Your name
• Your address (if you are a new customer)
• A contact telephone number
• Your registration number
• A clear description of the service and any other work required (including as much information as possible regarding any faults, as this helps us to pinpoint the fault in the quickest time possible and can therefore save you money!)
  

When you bring your vehicle to us, we would ask if you could please:

• Leave us with any updated contact details
• Have any locking devices for the wheels or hub caps available
• Leave your service booklet out for completion
• Make sure your boot area is clear, as we will need access to the spare tyre if your vehicle is to be serviced
• Remove or detach any child seats so we can carry out full seat belt checks, as we are not allowed to remove them ourselves during an M.o.T. test.  It is not compulsory as a minimum test can be performed, but it is in the interests of your child’s safety that a complete seat belt check be carried out.
• Leave keys to access all of the vehicle doors and locking fuel caps
• Leave plenty of fuel in your vehicle, as it is likely we may have to run the engine for a period and at the end of any work carry out a road test.
• A valid radio code, as we may have to interrupt the battery supply to the unit (this sometimes occurs during pollen filter replacement procedures)

Servicing Your Vehicle

• In the interests of safety and economy we strongly recommend that you keep your vehicle servicing up to date and in accordance with the specific manufacturers schedule. It is a common misconception that a service is only required when the specified mileage has been covered.

Please remember all components deteriorate with time as well as wear out with mileage!

This is why all manufacturers stipulate servicing to be carried out by either time or mileage, whichever occurs first. This is not just a ploy to make you spend money unnecessarily.
